Starting in March 2023, Bauhaus Earth will conduct the three-year research project “Transformation Pathways to a Renewable Built Environment” funded by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUV).

We are looking for 5 researchers to join our team.

The project explores the potentials, challenges and starting points for the transition to bio-based and circular buildings and green, inclusive and healthy urban environments. A key objective of the project is to conduct an integrated global study to assess the potential of biogenic materials for future building needs and to identify the detailed potential of the built environment as a man-made carbon sink.
